FAQ-1234 Call Processing Rounding Options

There are 3 Call Processing Rounding Options that can be set in Comm One. They are:

NONE - Do not Round the Calls
MINUTE - Round up to the nearest Minute
NEAREST 10th - Round to nearest 10th of a minute (6 second rounding) 

There are two options for setting the Call Rounding. You can use the Rounding Wizard, or make the setting manually using the ToolBox Utility.

Call Rounding in Version 2017

Version 2017 has an option called SET CALL ROUNDING in the Wizards under the TOOLS menu.



Manually Setting the Rounding using ToolBox Commands

You can also set the rounding manually using the ToolBox Command Utility.

  1. Close all programs (except call capture)
  2. Open the COMM ONE SOFTWARE Folder on the Desktop
  3. Open the UTILITIES Folder



  4. Double Click on the ToolBox Utility Icon



  5. TURN ROUNDING OFF:  Type the following commands to turn rounding off.

    CLOSE DATABASES
    SELECT A
    USE PLSYS.DBF
    REPLACE PLSYS.PHONE WITH ""
    CLOSE DATABASES
    QUIT

  6. SET ROUNDING FOR MINUTE: Type the following commands to round up to the nearest minute.

    CLOSE DATABASES
    SELECT A
    USE PLSYS.DBF
    REPLACE PLSYS.PHONE WITH "M"
    CLOSE DATABASES
    QUIT

  7. NEAREST 10TH: Type the following commands to round up to the nearest 10th of a minute (also known as 6 second rounding)

    CLOSE DATABASES
    SELECT A
    USE PLSYS.DBF
    REPLACE PLSYS.PHONE WITH "T"
    CLOSE DATABASES
    QUIT
